Cancellation Policy

Effective date: 10 October 2026

The free trial: nothing to cancel

Lumo’s 14-day free trial does not take a payment card and does not become a paid subscription by itself. If you do nothing when it ends, access to the paid features simply stops. There is no cancellation step and nothing to remember.

Automatic renewal

Once you subscribe, your subscription renews automatically until you cancel:

  • Monthly plan — renews every month on the same date, at $12.99 USD.
  • Yearly plan — renews every year on the same date, at $99 USD.

You will always be able to see your next renewal date on your subscription page in Lumo. You receive a receipt for every charge.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, in any of these ways:

  1. In Lumo — open your profile, go to Subscription, and choose Cancel subscription.
  2. Through PayPro Global — use the self-service link on your purchase receipt, or contact PayPro Global’s customer support with the details on that receipt. PayPro Global, Inc. is our authorised reseller and merchant of record and processes the payment.
  3. By email — write to support@lumomusic.app from the address on your account. We will cancel it for you and confirm by email within 2 days.

We do not ask you to call anyone, sit through a retention flow, or explain yourself.

When cancellation takes effect

Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not cut your access short:

  • You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • On that date the subscription ends, no further charges are made, and access to lessons, pieces and challenges stops.

Example: you are on the monthly plan, your period runs to 20 March, and you cancel on 5 March. You keep full access until 20 March and are not charged again.

If you cancel and would also like the most recent charge refunded, see the Refund Policy — cancelling on its own does not trigger a refund.

Promotional prices

If you subscribed at a promotional price (for example as a beta participant), that price continues only while the subscription stays active. After a cancellation, a new subscription is at the standard price.

What happens to your account and progress

Cancelling ends the subscription, not the account. Your account, XP, streak history, completed lessons and practice records stay in place, and you can resubscribe later and pick up where you left off.

If you also want your account and personal data deleted, you can do that yourself in your profile — see the Privacy Policy.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, PayPro Global may retry it. If it keeps failing, access to paid features is suspended and the subscription ends. You can subscribe again at any time.

Changes we make

If we stop offering Lumo, or discontinue your plan, we will tell you by email and refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
